Finally building a better intro/instructions screen for Dizzy Sheep Disaster: Ex! It used to be dense text. That text now lives on the e-reader cards!

Demo next week?

Y'all, I know two hours is a big time commitment, but this panel I arranged and hosted last month is one of the most important things I've ever done for video game history. The launch of the NES is a crazier story than most people realize, and my guests were extremely generous with their memories.

The bees have a scarier cousin, be afraid of hornets! They see you, and they want your fuzzy blood. You have to move quickly to stay safe.

Dizzy Sheep Disaster: EX is coming soon for your e-reader and phone!

Be careful of the bees! Bees follow the huge magnets chasing our sheep in Dizzy Sheep Disaster: EX. Time your moves carefully to avoid being stung!

Dizzy Sheep Disaster features a number of scary enemies that our magnetic sheep must avoid! Ticks are small, but will quickly end her journey. Be careful!

I’ve been working on packaging for Dizzy Sheep Disaster lately, here’s a prototype of the e-reader booster pack design!

The label art is a mockup pending final design from @mteegfx.com, who I know is gonna make it look amazing!

I'm super stoked to finally reveal these card designs, y'all. Everything from the text, illustration, and layout are the culmination of something I've been wanting to do for a long, hot minute; and @sarahlynne.bsky.social's been a total blast to work with on it.
The amazing @mteegfx.com has been working on card designs for Dizzy Sheep Disaster: EX for the Nintendo E-Reader and I’m loving the results! We’re getting close to ready!

Not everyone has an e-reader, so I’ve been working on a web-based version of Dizzy Sheep Disaster you can play from a QR code or a link. It’s coming together well! #screenshotsaturday

I'm still hard at work on my e-reader game, with hopes to release it by the end of this year! Lately the focus has been the web-based emulator. I want to make sure people without an e-reader still get a really fun experience

I've been a bit quiet but I'm still hard at work on Dizzy Sheep Disaster: EX! I recently wrote up a guide on how to make an e-reader game from a NES game. Give it a look!

I just got the proof in from the printer. The cards look and scan great! The E-Snake cards came out way too dark though, so I will be tweaking those. It's so on!

Bit of a nerdier #screenshotsaturday, I've been bumping up against space limits for Dizzy Sheep Disaster for a while now, so I borrowed a trick from Super Mario Bros. I put most of my level data into extra graphics space, saving me over a kilobyte of space for code!
