Attended 2 non-linguistic conferences ( #TS2025, #ASNR2025 ) where presenters made analogies to language.

The good: Some have engaged with linguistically informed research to draw connections.

The bad: Some have oversimplified linguistic experiences to make their own work “easier to understand.”
