This Iron Lung rhetoric is weird. Like, I’m happy for them, but the idea they’re pushing it as “how an indie film broke the box office”.. it was still on a $3m budget, by most indie standards that’s a pretty good budget for a horror movie. Blumhouse only spend $3-5m on their movies…

Has anybody here seen the series Giri /Haji? We are on episode 2 and I’m enjoying some of the mixed casting. Cannot for the life of me understand why Justin Long has appeared.

Just watched Wim Wenders Perfect Days (2023) on mubi and it was lovely. Such a sweet film about the joys and hardships of a simple life in Tokyo. Koji Yakusho was a brilliant almost silent protagonist.

Does anybody remember this old sci-fi episode where an astronaut is haunted by their dead crew mates who are all floating outside the ship looking in? (Not Twilight Zone or Outer Limits) I think I saw it on “Zone Horror” as a kid… I’ve just never been able to find it again.
