Feral Pear Butter from the Oak Rock Animal Preserve. They put out a bunch of products for sale by the Finley Road Trailhead. I ride my mountain bike past this spot all the time, and finally stopped to purchase something. The wild pear logo is too cute!

Mike Johnson and the rest of the obtuse GOP fat cats in Washington are completely out of touch with the American people. Their idea of patriotism is supine acquiescence to authoritarian rule, and they react like spoiled babies when challenged.

Pretty wild to see @jay.bsky.team burn the good will for Bluesky in just a few days.

Maybe if they had actually hired a head of comms, instead of leaving that job role open for months, somebody would give her advice on how not to communicate with users.

Circle to Search on Android, together with Gemini, is insanely useful for language learning. Here on my Pixel 9 I check a definition in Duolingo with integrated Google Translate, then use a Gem to see the traditional characters and understand how this would be expressed differently in Taiwan. 🙌
