I’m an ardent philsophe who is fascinated by consciousness and the sheer fact of being. I’m seeking to make the most of my time on this amazing planet and to make my time count the most for those who follow me. Certainly not the most fun at parties.
I love these threads so, so much.
Fall is here and many of you may be shopping for an overcoat.

Let me show what you can get as you move up the price ladder. 🧵
Here are four overcoats.

— Which do you think is the most expensive?
— Which do you think is the least expensive?
— Which do you think provides the best value?

Answer below. Tomorrow, I will show what you get as you climb up the price ladder for overcoats.

Brooke Rollins out here just casually admitting that monopolies are bad for the consumer and the economy.

“There’s been a massive consolidation, which is not good for the industry.”
CNBC: Can you explain why beef prices have soared to point where we're thinking about importing beef from Argentina, the same country that's selling all their soybeans to China? To soybean farmers that must be like, 'You're kidding me'

BROOKE ROLLINS: We'd need a whole another show to describe that

I’ve never used the service, but if I did I would #CancelSpotify
#CancelSpotify

They are running ICE ads.

They aren't the only company, but I think we should make an example out of Spotify and do an economic boycott against companies supporting masked, armed agents terrorizing innocent Americans with impunity.

Spread the word.

This.
Parnas: A lot of people are saying this idea that, well, Graham Platner hasn’t won statewide, and Janet Mills has.

Platner: We have a number of excellent senators who had never run for office or won a statewide race before.

That’s an argument the establishment makes to protect itself

Let’s be clear: this wouldn’t be “tough,” as the presenter says, this would be *ruinous.* Bankrupties, foreclosures, and homelessness would skyrocket. It’s rhetorical malpractice to call this change “tough.”
CNN: “An older couple making $85K/year will see their yearly insurance premiums jump from $7K to $25,000 — 30% of their income.” 😳#TrumpShutdown #TrumpHealthCareTax

This is what Dems are drawing attention to and want fixed. Now, not later.

The Sierra Club’s “The Dirty Truth” report finds that the country’s biggest electric utilities are collectively doing worse on climate goals than when the organization started tracking their progress five years ago. This year they earned an aggregate grade of “F” for the first time.

RIP to Robert and my dad, who was called Robert’s doppelgänger on many occasions. My dad died in 2005 much sooner than he should have from lung cancer, but it’s only fitting to recognize both men who strived to leave the world better than they found it.

From the bottom up, this is how change happens.
Two former police chiefs ran for mayor in August. Both lost. In fact, neither even made the runoff.

In Detroit, James Craig (the only Republican in the race & a frequent fixture on Fox News during the BLM protests) got 5%.

In Mobile, tonight, Paul Prine finished third, a year after he was fired.
