One chaotic pattern your website can use to throw me off my game is for your "Log In" button to expose *another* log in button.

My face when 'New Window' is under 'File' and not the 'Window' menu on MacOS.

@damianedwards.com I'm going mad! I've got a system I can't make stable. pcpartpicker.com/user/samrueb... MemTest86 fails every two with *different* pairs of modules. Already RMAed 1 Core Ultra 9 285K. RAM failures always the same: bit in 2nd position flips. What would you do next?

One of my favorite quirks of logging into a VDI every few weeks is it immediately interrupting me with a popup dialog telling me it needs to reboot for updates. Uhhh what have you been doing while I've been gone?!

GitHub Copilot just reviewed my staged changes before a committed and made awesome suggestions and even caught where I accidentally flipped a bool 🤫This is amazing ✨

Fun fact: Blue LEDs were the final boss of lighting—scientists spent decades wrestling with gallium nitride until Akasaki, Amano & Nakamura finally cracked it in the early ’90s (Nobel Prize 2014). Now we just put tape over them because they’re too bright. Humans are funny.

Every emoji-picker on earth pretends the most basic smile emoji shouldn't be the first, or even the third choice.

The downside to your AI headshot is that I can't tell if you're a real person now 🙂

Tech companies can't figure out how to deal with hardware they've sold that still works and people still want. Can't sell a new generation if there isn't a reason to upgrade. So they just set dates where devices (that still work great!) will be unsupported just to brick them.

Aren't websites that accept a passkey for authentication and then still require MFA doing it wrong?

Alright which one of you all broke the internet again?

Which one of you made the decision to have line numbers off by default and can I have a word?

You really have no idea how much little stuff you configure over the years until you have a brand new Windows install

I don't understand the argument "stop shoving AI down our throats". Just don't click that sparkle button. Change the channel. You don't have to listen. You're upset about lightboxes describing new AI stuff? That happens for all new features to make them discoverable. Participation not required!

Fun fact (or terrifying one), today’s AWS outage took down Canvas, the #1 learning management system used by 4,000+ U.S. colleges and millions of students worldwide. One data center hiccup and half of higher ed disappears.
