I shit you not the here in China the phrase for fake copy in Chinese is 祖国版 which literally translate to Motherland Version.
I guess it's forbidden to sale fake on Chinese eBay so they go around it by saying that's Motherland Version.

ooh I got one. My hometown county in Inner Mongolia used to have a Manchurian name 布特哈旗. It was later changed to 扎兰屯. 扎兰 is from扎兰章京which is another Manchurian name wait OK never mind

it's crazy to me that 'roommate' in U.S. colleges actually means 'you sleep in the same room.' even the smallest U.K. and Australian dorms sub-divide!

Convert myself from 米饭 based diet to 馒头 based diet. Almost instantly got rid of the aftermeal drowsiness. Man I hope I found out this trick earlier.

Just realised I learnt my first racial slur as a kid from my parents. Chinese people can be pretty racist. 老蒙古 is the racial slur Han Chinese used to refer ethic Mongolians in China. Meanwhile I literally learnt zero Mongolian word growing up in a province called Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
