11/29/99 - Day 1 at The Gazette. Almost 26.
11/29/24 - Today, 25 years at The Gazette. Almost 51. That's half my life.
There are days at ANY job that are tedious and mind-numbing. But when you create or collaborate on stuff people really like, that's why you do it. That's the best. Thank you.

A reminder that the great Ron Swanson of Pawnee, Indiana, was an Indiana Fever fan.

Sad it’s not still on — much like Detlef Schrempf, Roy Hibbert, Andrew Luck, Reggie Wayne, Robert Mathis, Adam Vinatieri and Jim Irsay before her, Caitlin Clark and the ladies woulda been there, too.

@jowrotethis.bsky.social Dear Jo, please steer Mallory toward buying Buffy (and Angel .. it's inevitable) from the iTunes/Apple store. When I got them, they were still using original aspect ratios and coloring instead of the atrocious high-def conversion that on streaming. This is too important.

If you’ve not seen “The Conversation,” it’s masterwork by Gene Hackman. “Royal Tenenbaums” (he allowed Wes Anderson’s whimsy to swirl around him), “Young Frankenstein” (he asked to be in it), “French Connection” (you can taste it), his Lex Luther is the best superhero movie villain ever.
