I still think about Downey's triumphant handshake at the end of this sketch all the time. This is how you react to an audience rejecting your work. They should teach this in art school the way they still teach D-day at west point.
Did you know that the actor who gave the iconic rant to Billy Madison’s final answer also was the “Don’t be thick in front of me, Al” guy from “There will be Blood”? Either works. Jim Downey also in “The Chair Company.” Hilarious.
