it’s kind of wild to see an artist who has been vocally anti vax, propped up extreme right wing dog whistles about the government during early COVID, and has been riding down that crunchy right wing pipeline get solo shows and big openings.

The library in (one) of my hometowns relies on community support to keep running. Public libraries, especially in rural areas, are important spaces that provide services beyond books. the AMOUNT of fights and arguments I have caused asking why because it's assumed I'm being combative. I'm literally just trying to understand. I've started saying "I am not understanding, can you help me understand" because it seemingly is not as challenging to people but it's just a fancy "why".
PSA to neurotypicals - asking “why” is not arguing. “Here is how a thing is.” “Why?” Is not an argument. It’s a request for more information. Why is the thing that way? Teach me.

ok this was a terrible adaptation. I went in so excited and ready to love it but was met with a mess of a story that (imo) blasted away any and all nuance and complexity of the original text. the tone is a mess and it's so mind numbingly boring in parts. I'm so confused by all the rave reviews.

Oh, confirmed and diagnosed asthma but I'm going to walk back my suspicions of developing after COVID. I think I've had asthma my entire life but it worsened post-COVID. After talking to the pulmonologist I am actually floored at how I've been just suffering for years and thinking it was my fault.
so I have an appt at the respiratory clinic tomorrow morning to do some testing to confirm if I have asthma which the ER doc has diagnosed but wants confirmation. if I do I have strong suspicions that I developed asthma after I got COVID in 2021.
