returning to note that the bard’s skull isn’t in his tomb. this may have actually happened
if i were shakespeare i would’ve put in my will that every time they did hamlet they’d have to use my skull for yorick. bc you know they had to use a real one for that. didn’t have spirit halloween back then.

TIL Shakespeare’s successor as the playwright for the King’s Men was doing weird art cinema in the 1620s. “A Game at Chess” was about a crisis between England and Spain but framed as a chess match. It’s like John Ford died and everyone decided that Kenneth Anger would be the king of movies.

it's gotta be weird if you aren't into football at all but follow people who do. you're just minding your own business, enjoying yourself on social media, and all of a sudden everybody says DOINK at the same time and doesn't bother to explain why

got gyros at a halal cart and a bit fell out when we unwrapped them

slowly, the pigeons approached. stomp as we might, we could hold them back but for a time. dispersing across the plaza, we split their numbers. but eventually, they came for us. as they will come for us all

little-known fact: if tony leung and tony leung are in a room together, they form a particle-antiparticle pair and cease to exist. this was a big problem whenever they were in a movie together. somehow, they managed
