just watched before sunrise. absolutely loved it, felt like love bottled in a universe where the earth stopped spinning. favorite scene was the faux telephone call. if you’re looking for something similar I also loved dogfight by savoca.

in a town around me its boomer population is fiercely fighting against townhomes because it’s against the town’s “character” (the development is surrounded by detached homes). In the article the main guy is quoted as saying this isn’t how “economically challenged” people want to live. Shoot me.
