take a standard Dutch Baby recipe and reduce both the flour and milk by half, then replace with an equivalent weight of butternut purée

what do you think?

apparently it was in the original script, so I must assume that my memory from 1999 is correct, and George Lucas has since reëdited all clips that are circulating on the internet

this is great, but there's no way I saw this in 1999, and I specifically remember thinking Natalie Portman saying "Supreme, Chancellor - Valorum" being the best part of the entire movie
November 21, 2025 at 4:16 PM
does Natalie Portman really never say "Supreme Chancellor Valorum" in her weird Episode 1 accent? did I Mandela Effect this into existence?

finally, I wanted to see how far down in the original search results I would find the Owen Pallett song.

so I googled the original lyric again, and this time Google AI told me it came from Disturbed's cover of The Sound of Silence--as if the attribution had changed within the past hour.
November 9, 2025 at 6:08 PM
then I googled the lines that Google AI told me were part of "Thaw", and found that the first three all seemed to be completely invented. when I searched for them, there were no actual hits, and Google AI suggested that they had come from entirely different (also incorrect) sources.

then I googled the poem and found out that while there is a poem with that title by that author, all four lines of the poem are different than the one cited in Google's AI result

was listening to an Owen Pallett song and a lyric struck me, so I typed it into Google to see if I'd heard it correctly. AI search identified it as being from a poem.

I thought, "oh, that's interesting, maybe Owen was referencing an earlier work in their lyrics"

vegan ma po tofu is very good, but much like a veggie burger, you need to take a completely different approach than you'd take for the meat version
