Hi. I’m an orthopedic nurse and I strongly disapprove of the Vice President’s message. Ibuprofen, while not without risks for bleeding and kidney injury, is considered safe and effective for pain when used appropriately, as directed and under the guidance of your medical care team when necessary.
We are at a point where the vice-President can claim that one of the most widely used and tested medications is "useless" because disregard for science is seen as a virtue.
JD Vance calls ibuprofen "useless medication" and implies it's not "necessary, safe and effective."
