This is in Mississippi—the state with the largest Black population by percent.

Nearly 4-in-10 Mississippians are Black. Yet we have "Confederate Heritage Month" and "Confederate Memorial Day."

Oh, and our 8 statewide elected state officials look like this.

In current day terms, one might say Katharine Graham and her supporters were a model for DEI and allyship. But in universal terms, they are a model for excellence, integrity, competence, and intellectual camaraderie. Wonderful and relevant documentary.
