Religion counts right? In my Tarot world, the main religion came about due to the god Cihan banishing his counterpart Jahangir to another realm. The symbol of the religion came from the burst of light that occurred during the banishment.

Tor made a promise to Azrail that they would escape their imprisonment together. But Tor, unfortunately, had to make a quick decision to escape and broke that promise. Azrail has resented Tor for abandoning him ever since.

Oooo, I haven't thought about this world in a while, but one of the main pets/mounts within my dragons universe are Kirin. They are not an extremely common creature and are to be treated with respect. You must let them allow you to ride on their backs, but they are often used to pull carts and such.
