D took a deep breath and reached into the Threads of the automaton, ripping them apart until he found the ones tied to its energy source. Pulling on those, he could sense an amethyst crystal. It had been heavily charged. The Threads woven around it were sparking with energy that now had no outlet to escape to. D transferred all of the Threads to one fist, then snapped his fingers in the triplicate snap. The crystal was yanked through the machine’s cheap metal exterior to join the Threads in his hand. Without its power source, the machine stopped moving completely. D continued to wind the Threads around the crystal, pulling the ones that had been holding it together until no more were attached. The armor crumbled into its separate pieces. D inhaled, gathering strength and balling the Threads around the crystal tighter and tighter until it was flashing with energy, then he threw it onto the armor.

Got a Third opinion. Theyre sayinf its the reversal valve. They're trying a cheaper fix first to see if it works, but if not the more expensive fit is gonna be around $5000 was the estimate (not a quote)... well if that comes to pass it might be emergency comms time cuz this affects the heater too

regarding our HVAC unit; the compressor is totally kaput but thankfully it's under warranty, however we're going to need to put an entirely new air duct in to keep the new one from going bad. once i figure out how much my household paying im gonna put everything on my vgen on discount ;w;
