I seem to be in a new identity crisis. A week before my birthday : D

This one is also kind of fucked up, made me return to a childhood habit of hiding under the blanket for that sense of additional safety (the only thing ruining my safety is my own mental issues btw, I am safe)

Finally figured out the setting and story of the prototype I am working on, which was a big artistic struggle for me, that was causing a lot of distress and frustration.

Will take a break from working on it anyway, cause I really need one.

Blue Wyrm is pretty much done, just gotta finish everything for the game's page, maybe make a release trailer and do some final playtests and it will be released.

Finished the ending, started working on the second quarter of the dungeon. Wrote all the lore messages for the game. Added a new mechanic, full of speedrun potential, to the timed strike.

Things left to do:
1. Make the rest of the dungeon
2. Place all the lore messages
3. Final boss sound design

Crystal walls that break only from timed critical strikes.

I added a cyan flash of the arms and sword as additional indication for when to perform this critical strike.

Added floor messages for tutorial purposes.

The text exist in 3d space, so my rule for this project of having no on-screen UI stays unbroken I guess, nice.

the magnetic storms do be hitting hard, kind of tired of not wanting to do anything.

At least I am noticing that some of my traumas are slowly healing, just because I am in a safer environment and in a lesser state of anxiety and stress now.

I am happy that I have energy to work on this game again, I thought I got burned out and was scared, but it turned out I was just too tired and depressed from sickness and having a bad sleeping schedule.

Finally back working on this. Made color-coded doors, the visuals for the main menu and particles for healing.

Things left to do:
1. Menu code, settings menu
2. Intro and ending art and text
4. Final boss special move
5. The crypt
6. Optimization

Will properly introduce this game here tomorrow.
