The 2024 Presidential Straw Poll in Puerto rico, The first time all Puerto Ricans had the option to indicate their preference as to who should be elected U.S. President returned a staggering 46.6% victory for Harris despite an election that saw a major swing right amongst Latinos throughout the U.S.
On this night, I feel like it should be noted that we REALLY need to repeal the 2001 AUMF as soon as practicable. (www.govtrack.us/congress/vot...)

Sarah McBride put out a fundraising post on her Instagram specifically denouncing Republicans for trying to ban gender-affirming health care for trans people. It's probably one of the most forceful statements I've read from her.

The 2002 Newark Mayoral Election — a contest between incumbent Sharpe James, seeking his fifth term, and one-term Central Ward Councilman Cory Booker — was a historic battle that pitted the longtime Boss of Newark’s political machine against a reformer seeking to end his reign.

We stand with Congresswoman McIver
Today I filed notice of appeal in my case.

From the beginning, I’ve fought back against this administration’s cruelty and attempts to silence dissent—this appeal is the next step in the fight.

The shift from "sir this is a Wendy's" to "just put the fries in the bag" indicates a cultural rightward shift; whereas the former is making fun of someone by implying they're a customer doing too much, the latter is making fun of someone by implying they're a *worker* & should know their place

Walz won by 193k votes in 2022, his margin was +135,413 in Minneapolis alone. Omar Fateh only got 65k votes this year. Even assuming the same environment as 2022, Walz would still win by a lot if 0 Omar voters came out or canvassed or volunteered
the (racist) call is literally coming from inside ur house. we tried to tell ya, Walz picked his side. hope those frey folks will be the boots on the ground & influencers u are looking for, bc ppl’s v lives are depending on a DFL trifecta.

“What does abundance offer the Herrenvolk Yeoman Smallholder?”

Honestly nothing specific which is probably its best quality!
I don’t always agree with of the broader political takes from some “abundance”-coded pundits but man the abundance critics are just pure nonsense merchants

like, what’s this guy’s deal? literally making up a guy to dunk on the idea that cities should build more housing and transit.

NYT shows how Bari Weiss really screwed this up.

She didn't attend any of the 5 screenings of the story, which began on Dec. 12.

She only first weighed in on Thursday, and the show incorporated her suggestions.

She then waited until weekend to ask for more edits.
