New Yorkers are going hungry this month. We need your help!

The feds say that partial SNAP benefits will be released, NYS usually takes weeks to process & the feds say it will only pay 50% of benefits for Nov, meaning people will be food-insecure for most of the month. bit.ly/47DCfWl

Join us today to save SNAP, say NO to rushed, harmful, punitive work requirements, and call on President Trump to release the money for November SNAP benefits NOW!

Allowing people to go hungry for political gain is abhorrent. Hungry people should never be used as pawns.

NYC has 5,000 vacant supportive housing units sitting empty while thousands are street homeless. We could use every single one of those to house people now.

Instead, @nycdhs.bsky.social spends millions doing sweeps attacking homeless people #StopTheSweeps #HouseTheHomeless

The State Appellate Division has affirmed what we’ve always known: the Council has the authority to act on behalf of New Yorkers in crisis.

The mayor must stop obstructing CityFHEPS reforms that will allow people to stay in their homes and find permanent, stable housing.

Some good news for NYC CityFHEPS Voucher holders!

“This is the time for us to engage in implementation, and talk about who are the populations that we’re serving,” Abreu said. “Instead of just saying simply ‘no,’ we can provide support.”

Today’s ruling is a well-deserved win for homeless NYers who fought for the CityFHEPS Laws. It’s been 2 years since they passed, and thousands have been evicted and have remained stuck in shelters because of Mayor Adams.

It's time for him to reverse course before more harm is done

📍The Bronx is the epicenter of NYC’s housing crisis.

8 of the 10 highest-risk districts are located in the Bronx. And nearly every Bronx community ranks in the top 30 for housing threats citywide.

It’s time for the NYC Council to fully fund CHPS at $4.95M in FY26!
