Truly, it baffles me as someone who grew up in the south.. many who voted for him are the same ones who are dependent on programs such and SNAP, etc.

Some days survivorship looks like big goals. Other days it’s getting out of bed, taking your meds, and answering one email. Both count. Your life after cancer doesn’t have to look inspiring to be worth living. It just has to be yours. #CancerSurvivor #YouBeatCancerNowWhat #oncosky #cansky

#Cansky it’s been two years to the day since a 10.5 tumor was found on my kidney. I look back and wonder where time went?
I take a gentle look back to that week it was found in 2023, and remember vividly going to a Christmas party and having to feel like I have to be “on” for everyone.

December has alway been a hard month for me since 2019. December 2019, my mom passes away. Early December 2023 my cancer is found. Now, December 2025, I find out I have been laid off from my job.
There is zero ill-will to my former org I worked for.

Tonight, we did something everyone counted out. We proved to a nation that states like Tennessee are still worth fighting for. The margin was close, and that can only be attributed to the thousands of volunteers who showed out. This is just the beginning.
