First time I tried to change the world I was hailed as a visionary.

Second time I was politely asked to retire.

So here I am enjoying my retirement.

Trump and Musk will go down in history as the duo that killed America for good. Dictators need a large mass of unthinking people who will never question. Musk just created that generation for Trump. A generation devoid of empathy, intelligence, conscience, who blindly worships a raging maniac.

Elon Musk is clear, X is going to be a platform only for White MAGA types, rest don't matter. The reason why click bait, rage bait content is being prioritized. The reason why blatantly racist handles are given reach.

Twitter used to be the place where one could read and know a lot of new stuff. History, science, tech, religion, astronomy there were good educative threads. In a way that made up for the rather nasty, toxic discourse too.

One trend I foresee, is Social Media losing it's appeal. Basically SM is now controlled by Algorithms, which push the click bait, rage bait content into the feed, while really indepth posts, articles are pushed back.

To all those who have been here on Bluesky from long, how good is the interaction and engagement here? Or is it controlled by an algo like Twitter? I want to share a lot, but if there is no engagement or response, it does not motivate.

I had created this account on BlueSky long time back, but not been very active. But from 2026, most likely will be shifting here full time. Done with Twitter for good.

The algo there is killing reach, promoting click bait content, and Musk has no intention of rectifying it.

We have seen the same script play out in Iraq, Libya, Egypt and now Bangladesh.
