House Sac’s Kate Rodgers on @kcranews.bsky.social about last night‘s planning commission vote on whether to bring more than 300 new homes to East Sacramento.

Support for the project was unanimous (of course).

I'm fascinated by this sprawl commercial conversion into to a low-rise mixed-use building in Sacramento. You don't see a lot of developments that are 10 apartments over two small storefronts.

We should build more apartments in the city of Sacramento imho

My fellow House Sacramento members had a great visit with Senator Angelique Ashby's office last week at YIMBY lobby day. We're excited for SB 79, the big transit-oriented development bill, to get to the Senate floor soon. Let's export Sacramento's housing policy statewide!
