Twitter had to turn off its location feature within hours because thousands of prominent and "verified" MAGA accounts turned out to be foreign and I think it's hilarious that Elon was the one who exposed them all

Breaking news: “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert will end in May 2026, CBS said in a statement.

The announcement came days after Colbert spoke out against the $16 million paid earlier this month by Paramount, the parent company of CBS News.
Stephen Colbert’s ‘Late Show’ canceled by CBS, to end in May 2026
CBS said in a statement that it was “purely a financial decision.” The show launched with Colbert as host, executive producer and writer a decade ago.

"The problem with AI isn't that it can do your job. It can't. The problem with AI is that your MBA-brained boss's boss doesn't know how your job works and thinks AI can do your job at fractions of a penny on the dollar, and hears the siren song of 'maximize shareholder value'."

MBA-brain is real.
They’re literally advertising it.

Combien de temps un ouvrier médiéval travaillait-il, par jour, par semaine, par an ? Comment s'organisait une journée de travail ?

Un document fascinant de la cathédrale de Rouen permet de répondre à ces questions. Un fil ⬇️ ! #medievalists #medievalsky

Six film titles that are misleading…

6. Mission Impossible (it was possible)
5. Goodfellas (they were pretty bad actually)
4. Jurassic Park (Cretaceous Park more like)
3. The Constant Gardener (never even starts gardening)
2. The Man Who Wasn’t There (yes he was)
1. The NeverEnding Story (ends)

The news reports right now are mentioning just that Jonathan Joss was shot and killed "after an argument with a neighbour."

The truth is much much worse.
Jonathan Joss--voice actor of John Redcorn from King of the Hill, and Ken Hotate from Parks and Rec--was killed in a homophobic hate crime today.

I'm so angry.
