Yesterday at TSMC, I saw what investing in American manufacturing looks like.

High-paying jobs, cutting-edge tech, and a supply chain we can count on.

I backed the CHIPS Act to make this happen.

Yup. While everyone is pointing fingers of blame ALL OVER THE PLACE, it is sadly as simple as the chief says. “Mother Nature owned us."

CEO pay is up 1,085% since 1978, while typical worker pay is up just 24%.

Why do we always hear "we can't afford to pay our workers more" but never "we can't afford to pay our CEO more"?
The typical Fortune 500 CEO had already made more money by January 2nd than the average US worker will make this entire year.

Jimmy Carter was the one ex-president in the modern era to openly admit (and lament) the truth about what America has become in the post-Citizens United era.

The national press corps probably won’t mention this, but it was really something. He was a real one. RIP.

Without Section 230, platforms like Bluesky could face lawsuits for every comment or video they moderate—or don’t. Brendan Carr is one of the authors of Project 2025, and Trumps pick to lead the FCC. His push to gut these protections would reshape the internet into an even more chaotic free-for-all.

The typical network primetime viewer now has a median age of 64.6 years old. The median age of of the three big cable news channels is 67 (CNN), 68 (FOX), and 71 (MSNBC).

Not too long now until they go the way of the dodo. I say, good riddance.

Border stats: In 2024, 1.1% of those stopped crossing illegally had prior convictions—half for 'illegal entry.' Compare that to 8% of Americans with felony convictions.

No matter how you feel about the border, when Trump says 'migrant criminals,' remember: the facts tell a different story.

Political polarization is wild:
🔹 Republicans share 21% more misinformation than Democrats
🔹 Most fake news comes from pro-Republican outlets
🔹 62% of Republicans think fake news is out to get them.

Self-own season is in full swing.
