My teammate was onboarding a new customer to the HR platform. But then all the screens showed no data. Quite embarrassing, had to end the call early. The issue was because there was two accounts for the same company. The latter was mistakenly made. Woopsies

But man, the highs compensate for the lows. The people you work with are amazing. And the game is so fun.

I've noticed that a defining trait of ambitious people, is that they think long term and plan ahead. This also means that they are ok with delayed gratification, and extended periods of grind.

It's so, so hard to find and work with someone who has the grit to do great things. Who don't give up easily. Who work hard and work fast.
I've had the pleasure of working with such people. But currently I'm not, and it's lonely. I wish the stars could align again.

My product has been used by 3 real clients of one beta lawyer, over the past month. GCP logs show that today on jan 18, one uploaded 5 different files. Wild to think that I finally made something, seriously being used in the real world.

I'm creating a lead list of inheritance lawyers for cold calling. It's quite tedious to export the leads using an extension, and then going to their website to see if they specialize in estate planning, then manually filling in the google sheet with their state, website, and url.

Lesson I've learned after working with 10 to 15 people over the past 6 months of my team, some of them phasing out after just 10 hours: at least 50% lack communication skills and honor in their word.
They don't stick to the schedule they give, nor communicate when it changes.

Reached 4 of them, booked demos with 2. 3rd one is interested but wants more info. 4th one is lost.
