I totally did not spend a couple hours first figuring out how to simulate fluid the way I wanted, then making it transparent and cloudy and glossy at the same time, to then colour grade the render myself.

This is my older rendition of him from 3 years ago. It's quite unfinished as I was drawing it before a deadline. There's been some changes (mostly body type) due to magic fuckery, and as my personal expression and indulgence 😋

First pic is 2022, the latter 2025.

Sex work is valid. There's lots of points from these censorship-pushers about the porn industry exploiting those in it... so protect those in it! Give them the same labor rights that all employees get. Banning porn doesn't help, embracing it does.

I've tried out Clip Studio Paint as a replacement for my original Paint Tool SAI together with a new tablet that isn't like 13 years old. I must say that it is much of an upgrade!

The computer graphics specialization has had the benefit of some classes being taught by professors from a Fine Arts university. One of the assignments we were given was to create a photorealistic render based on a room photo.

I am very proud of the results I've gotten.

In the middle there is a pair of low tables accompanied by a Japanese floor chair situated on tatami mats. On the table is a mirror, a house plant and a whiskey glass. In the back of the room there is a recess containing a shelf with a lamp and a wall scroll depicting Japanese calligraphy. The render was created in Blender 4.3 using the Cycles path tracing engine. A photorealistic CGI render of a Japanese style room, closeup on the items on one of the tables. The scene is illuminated by bright sunlight coming through a window in the back of the room. In view are a mirror, a house plant and a whiskey glass standing on top of a table. The whiskey glass has facets cut into a grid pattern on its outside, casting complex caustics onto the table surface. The mirror is pointed such that the glass is visible in it, presenting how the light interacts with the glass after bouncing. The plant is illuminated from behind by sunlight, the leaves diffusing some of the light through and casting a green glow onto the table underneath. The table is bright from the light, showing the pattern of the wood. Onto it are cast both sharp direct shadows of the items on top, as well as blurry reflections from the light bouncing from the items. The render was created in Blender 4.3 using the Cycles path tracing engine. The original photo used as a reference. The actual room is more detailed, containing more furniture, a tea set and being lit from a different direction.
