Update on el doggo.
I’m seeing things that make me think her bone lesion is more likely lymphoma. We see vet tomorrow to top off meds and can discuss then. Meanwhile pain is well managed and dog wonders why I keep fussing.

You might be a nurse if you just realized you have a prescription of Tramadol in your cupboard and just calculated that it is safe for the dog if she has break through pain on the current regimen. We even have the right dosage on hand.
I’m now less stressed about trying to get through Xmas.

It was not on my bingo card for the dog to get diagnosed with bone cancer today. A few days ago she was bounding through the woods without a care in the world.

So in embarrassing situations only I can create. I am currently trapped inside the gates of my storage locker because it won’t let me out after hours. But yet it let me in.

#31 brought her kid over for sleepover no winter clothes. Snowing hard and -10. Kid was in runners and hoodie riding transit with transfers for about 2 hours.
My husband was furious. I went out and found second hand basics for $35

Watching #TheFall Season 2, Episode 1. Still one of the best dramatizations of a trauma emergency I’ve seen. Yes there are things to pick at. But it’s so well done. The designation of roles, the communication, the log rolling, the slightly jaded but competent ED physician … why I love UK shows.
