Making pozole for the first time - green pozole- We tried to save time with a rotisserie chicken but then I realized that half of what makes the soup good is the gelatin/fat so I took the meat off the chicken to add shredded later and put the bones and skin in with the veg

Photo by Pierre Lavie. Yes this is me. And I threw my Leica. It landed on the bass plate with hardly a scratch. Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.
