still scratching my head when it comes to this whole offseason for Seattle.
Geno Smith’s deal with the Raiders is now 3 years at around $37 mm a year.
Seattle gave Darnold 3 years, $33.5 mm/year.
Geno’s deal has about $10 mm more in guarantees, but yeah—the whole “much cheaper” justification kinda goes out the window.

@ryanpod.bsky.social mannnnn I’m glad I kept listening to the pod. Sam’s is in my area and used to be a couple miles away. Sam’s parking lot basically extends into the farm behind it and the front spots are practically on a main road going 55. Used to frequent.

Thought this was really insightful from Press Taylor on #Jaguars rookie Brian Thomas Jr.

ehh, a lot of last year had to do with Jonah Jackson being banged up, too. i don’t think it’s as simple as “they’re old.”
Lions are losing in the trenches early to Buffalo, which was a key for this game. Bills can't get big-boyed.
Something to note about the Lions OL: it's a pretty old group. Decker, Glasgow, and Zeitler are all 30+, and Ragnow (28) has a big injury history. They faded down the stretch last year.
