Painting flowers is so boring to me, that it made me quit oil painting for like a month haha. But my mother in law asked for one, so i did it, hopefully she likes it atleast.. 😅

I've been wanting to test out the new @procreate.com brushes, so I did some inks and colors on this great drawing by @oeming.bsky.social. I loved the pathos of the gesture and facial expression.
I interpreted it as Perseus with Medusa's head.

It took two years (with other projects in between) but I've finished 44,703 stitches of DMC 162 — Very Light Blue that make up all the waterways on my 20-inch wide cross stitch map of the NYC subway system.
If I never touch another skein of 162 again it'll be too soon

I watched Alien: Earth over the holidays and really enjoyed it.
I think it and Romulus did a good job of telling new stories within the Alien narrative pillar of “Labor as expendable capital”.
