It's a weird feeling, measuring time in decades.

My ballot for the @baseballhall.org Class of 2026 marks a full decade of having the honor/privilege of voting for the Hall. Never, ever something I'll take for granted. My ballot column, on @optaanalyst.optajoe.com

Hey all. I'm building a database of local card/comic/TCG shops around the country that I can use as sources for future PSA Magazine stories.

So, what are your favorite local card shops? Shoot me a reply/DM.

If you're an LCS owner and want to be added, same thing. Thanks!

Career update: I started with Collectors this week as a writer on the PSA editorial team.

I've loved freelancing for PSA Magazine the past year-plus, and I'm absolutely thrilled to tell stories about the hobby and folks who love collecting on a full-time basis.

Ideas? Hit me up!

I can vouch for this being my favorite trucker hat. It got me through my “can’t do my hair” period post surgery!

It’s almost kind of amazing how NBC can produce a broadcast of the Thanksgiving Day parade without actually showing the parade itself. sheesh

Opened a couple hobby boxes of 2025 Topps Update just now. Enjoyed it.

See if you can pick up on the very subtle distribution pattern I noticed with the 1990 retro foil cards in the two boxes …

The Dodgers have struggled in the bullpen and won “only” 93 games, but the key pieces are healthy and they’ve been productive at the right time of the year.

@ryanfagan.bsky.social picks LA to become the first team to go back-to-back since the Yankees won three straight from 1998-2000.

Not to pile on the Tigers but the contrast is pretty stark.

The Tigers had the AL’s best record through August 31.

They have the AL’s worst record in September.

First screenshot is the AL overall standings on the morning of August 24. Second one is the AL wild-card standings right now.

The Tigers and Astros owned 2 of the 3 best records in the AL in late August. Now, it's probable that one of them will miss the playoffs entirely.
