@neildegrassetyson.com Have you ever listened to Radiohead’s “Kid A” in its entirety, and if so, what story do you think it’s telling? I have my thoughts, but I think your experience mapped to that work would prove super interesting. Note: listen all the way through the hidden track at the end...

Do you unconsciously repeat the things you hear on YouTube? I’ve been noticing this a lot lately.

The challenge in AI is grasping the difference between “quantitative” and “qualitative” problem sets. Quantitative problems have clearly defined methods for solutions. Qualitative problem sets are nuanced, largely lacking method, making them unreliable, resulting in unrepeatable outcomes.

@scalzi.com how do you manage your writing time? You’re a beast at social, but I’m wondering how you balance efforts. Honestly asking…

Laying off federal employees is a self-inflicted wound. It guts critical services, destroys institutional knowledge, and costs more in the long run. Stability and resilience demand continuity, not chaos.

My “middle class dreams” continue to slip away from my hopes and aspirations for my loved ones. Feels like sand slipping through my fingers… If you’re feeling this way, too, know you are not alone. Something is changing, not for the better.

A large part of my adult experience has been trying to temper my expectations for success in life due to absence of opportunities I did not create. Can anybody truly critically evaluate their privileges as it relates to the successes?

Return-to-office policies aren’t about collaboration, they’re about CEOs keeping those sweet tax incentives tied to office space usage, while employees pretend the breakroom coffee makes up for 3 hours of commuting. Follow the money…

@tmzofficial.bsky.social Advocacy isn’t just a word… it’s action. You can’t claim to stand for something if you’re not doing the work to back it up. Whether it’s speaking out, showing up, or making changes, advocacy without action is just noise. Real change demands movement. Do the work, dude.

Social media thrives on outrage, shunning misogynistic content is where it starts. Stop sharing posts from comedians punching down or guys like Joe Rogan normalizing toxic ideas. We need better conversations. Make the shift.

@therainbownavy.bsky.social I’m lucky to be the dad of LGBTQ kids (so awesome). Being a dad means loving your kids for who they are, not who you thought they’d be. If your kid’s LGBTQ, step up. Listen, learn, and back them up. Advocate, love LOUD, because that’s what dads were born to do.

@aoc.bsky.social I noodle this a lot: Being a protector is great, but thinking men always need to ‘save’ people? That’s toxic AF. It’s not strength—it’s control wrapped in good intentions. Real strength is letting others stand on their own while you support, not overshadow. Empower, don’t rescue.

Just a dad from SoCal trying to raise kids who think big and care even bigger. Got a soft spot for motives that lean toward fairness and empathy. Call it liberal if you want, but teaching the next generation to look out for each other? That’s just being a decent human. The anti-Rogan, I hope…
