I spoke with BBC berks this morning to discuss the postcode lottery in IVF. Our area has among the most restrictive criteria in the country. The cost to families is tens of thousands of £ (if they can afford private care). Others lose their dream of a family forever.

On digital ID, I asked if the minister (Ian Murray) was aware of data breaches in other countries.
He said, 'government data is pretty secure'.

At PMQs today I raised the inclusion of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in the rapid review of maternity and neonatal services.
Reports from The New Statesman and Channel 4 show serious failings — the Govt must ensure Baroness Amos’s review leads to real change, not a whitewash.

Yesterday I joined the Sonning Common Cycleway Campaign Group for a ride to see the need for a safe cycleway linking Sonning Common and Emmer Green.

It was great to hear from local residents about how better cycling infrastructure can make journeys safer, greener, and more accessible for everyone.

I received a response to my letter on Newborn Screening for Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Sadly the Minister declined to take responsibility for delays and spoke only about process. Meanwhile children are becoming needlessly disabled.
