Since it was introduced, the two child limit has been perhaps the most egregious of the so-called 'welfare reforms' of the 2010s.

Great to see the Scottish Government commit to get rid of it. Hopefully UK Government follows suit, and scraps even sooner.

Today's #ScottishBudget can help to end the injustice of child poverty. Our @ruthboyler was on @BBCRadioScot #GMS explaining how.

The two-child limit remains in place, and its impact will continue to grow as the policy affects an increasing number of children as time goes on.

We estimate that an additional 63,000 children will become affected by the policy between now and April 2025.
