Thousand Oaks, CA Not a large town, but huge turnout- a couple of thousand, maybe? We usually go to downtown L.A. , but decided to go smaller and are so happy we did.

My adult grandson loved the quilt. His favorite colors are orange and light blue, so I wasn’t sure, but it kind of has a Klimt-like quality that I kind of like.

My 92-year old dad and I ran some errands today, ate soup and sandwiches, talked about FDR, and visited the library and a bookstore. The day didn't remove the crushing anger, fear, and disappointment I've been dealing with since the election, but I admit to forgetting about it for a couple of hours.
