If Madueke on the left means tap ins for Saka at the back post, this could be the new Sane / Sterling.

Not to mention Odegaard at the top of the box or Rice / Merino crashing the box or Gyokeres / Havertz in the middle.

If we can score first, and teams have to come out and play, it could get ugly.

A) In what world is Foden an adequate replacement for KDB?

B) KDB had been injured most of the season, so if Foden was the solution, wouldn't it be more obvious?

Tim's articles are always a good read.

This one is even more so than usual, reinforcing my view that Arsenal has one of the world's best football coaches in Mikel Arteta.

Agents of Chaos
Amidst the unexpected goal feast in Eindhoven on Tuesday night, Arsenal’s seventh goal was probably the most extraordinary of the lot. In the words of Mikel Arteta, ‘Calafiori makes a run as a nine an...

Had a look a few minutes of Ekitike on the You Tubes, and I don't really think we can consider ourselves serious if he isn't playing in Arsenal red at The Carpet next season.

We deserve nice things.

Also, his fee is 80% of a Zubimendi less than Isak.

Perhaps Arsenal are finally turning a corner on commercial performance and player sales?

Take out the 0.79 for the pen and I'd have to guess this is another win Liverpool didn't quite merit

Is this behaviour from INEOS accepted practice when sponsors experience commercial headwinds?

Significant moment in Norway, where clubs from the top two divisions have voted to abolish VAR. Will be their formal recommendation to Norwegian FA ahead of decision in March.

PSG offered Napoli £200m for Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen during the most recent summer transfer window.

If he goes for 75m as reported, I don't fancy their chances getting 125m for Osimhen, so they might regret not taking the money.

Surely, they could have bought two high-quality forwards for £200m?

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is 24.

I am guessing 4.5 year contract at PSG, then a move to the PL at 27ish for the big pots of filthy lucre.

Making chances is one thing.

Converting them is an entirely different challenge, and we don't have the players to reliably put the ball in the net.

The richest individual in the world, happy to announce his right wing preferences, has the capacity to affect crypto asset values by changing his name on the social media platform he owns, having spent $270m to gain direct access to the President of the USA.

Not ideal.

Cunha hoping to catch Arteta's eye, it would seem.

7 writers from the Athletic selected their PL team of the season so far.

Saliba doesn't feature. At all.

One writer has Iwobi but not Saka.

Another describes Cole Palmer as a right sided forward.

Flekken, Kepa, and Hermansen over Raya?

This January 2023 piece on Kolo Muani by @lgambrose.bsky.social is worth a read, particularly if you are putting any stock into the Arsenal related rumours.

And perhaps even if you are not.

A worthwhile read, as usual.

I am leaving towards Arsenal finding an internal solution to Saka's injury unless they are pulling forward summer plans into the winter window, which would be quite a feat.
I did it. Here are 20 guys who are wingers and (in my opinion) are at least a little bit feasible for January. Dig in!
