RIP Crocus Behometh aka David Thomas aka Pere Ubu… I was lucky enough to catch Ubu in their Modern Dance-era pomp, blowing Gang Of 4 offstage in 79 as the latter were promoting their sub-par second album. Completely unprepared, I felt like I was watching (and listening to) the future….
