Thousands gathered in Nuuk for what organizers call the largest protest in Greenland’s history. Chants echoed through the city: Greenland belongs to Greenlanders.

It’s time for the Supreme Court to finally issue a ruling on tariffs. The Court has already recognized that tariffs function as a tax on the American people. A president cannot unilaterally impose new taxes on American citizens that power belongs to Congress alone.

Trump has transformed the justice system into a Putin-style autocratic protection racket. The wealthy are not audited or investigated, if convicted they are pardoned. Political opponents are targeted. Unidentified masked agents grab people off the street, and protesters are shot.

First it was trans kids in bathrooms, sports, trans in the military, then any trans person, it was ICE threats, then beatings, then killings. Now threatening the Insurrection Act.
