A lesson I'm happy + blessed to have learned early in military service.

Working with Marines with their own specialized roles required stepping out of rank and into team mode on every mission.

When you surround yourself with the best, either by training or luck, it's best to get out their way.

#Sudan is invisible.

To say the World is just watching would be bad enough, but it's actually worse than that. The World is completely ignoring the famine, rape as a weapon of war, and genocide that Sudan's women, children and elderly are suffering in.
Activism on "a whole new level" is needed to save lives in Sudan, David Miliband tells ABC News.

"This is actually setting a new low...The scale of the need today is 3 or 4 times the level it was 20 years ago, but the response is 10-20% of what it was 20 years ago."

Who you keep close matters.
The wrong relationship or circle can quietly rewrite your story. It can leave you questioning your worth and doubting your own reflection. But the right people restore you. They remind you of your strength and help you return to yourself with grace.

Mace routinely makes inflammatory remarks and relishes in the attention.

She should pay for her own detail.

As someone who served on Security Details for high-level DoD Officials + HNWI's, Mace is worst of clients. Security isn't a need, but status statement.

Unlike you, I can read and that’s why I know what the constitution says.
Trump on Ilhan Omar: "I look at somebody who comes from Somalia...and she comes in and tells us how to run our country. 'The Constitution says this, the Constitution says that.' The whole thing is crazy."

The U.S. should have intervened years ago.

Instead, the World's most powerful military is killing random boaters in the Caribbean.

Not only should the monsters on the ground pay, but the monsters in the Saudi Arabia and UAE governments funding this should as well.

Senator Chuck Schumer MUST step down from leadership, if the Democratic Party is to hold on to any semblance of credibility.

Most people have simply lost faith in his ability to lead, many are beginning to believe that he is colluding with Trump’s Administration.

He must be removed.

Black America is failing our children.

We're sacrificing their futures following lead of a Party that routinely dismiss our concerns for "good of everyone" despite needing our vote for power.

A few "chosen" given limited access in return for pacifying us with prayer and/or shame.

Eat The Chosen.

Black Democrats need to purge it's ranks of the DINO's, who serve themselves, while saying one thing, just to fall in line.

Mirror the Tea Party with a Mocha Party or any Party willing to champion the will of the base.

Healthcare
Financial Institution Reform
Criminal Justice Reform

Donate directly to local candidates, rather than @democrats.org.

Start preparing local challengers to purge @democrats.senate.gov + @housedemocrats.bsky.social.

It will be interesting to see what @schumer.senate.gov does to counter the growing disbelief that ONLY Senators on their way out masterminded this defection.

Regardless, he should Step Down!!!

Schumer either orchestrated this betrayal of the American Voters, or he was too weak a leader to stop it.
I think that these 8 Senators are falling on the sword for Schumer and other Senators who wanted the shutdown to end. This allows the majority of Senators to save face; and only retiring or not up for reelection Senators take the heat.

It’s a ruse.

A great interview, as usual.

It sounds as though Andrew Ross-Sorkin has written another masterpiece on U.S. financial history and the politics shaping them.

Looking forward to learning the Depression's heroes and villians.

Also, Margaret Hoover is Herbert Hoover's Great-Granddaughter. Who knew?!
"The truth is there wasn't a crash just on one day," says "1929" author @andrewrsorkin.bsky.social.

"And it didn't just sort of all of a sudden happen that there was a depression. There was a series of dominoes."

Your Democratic Party Leadership Is Compromised.

The Senior Leadership is clearly out of touch with Democratic voters and are too intertwined financially with Trump's enablers.

Your safest, most immediate option is to primary every Democrat elected during the first Trump Administration and before.
