i remember seeing someone say that they hated AB collab 2 because it had nothing to do with hbr and i keep thinking back to it because sure it isn't a story for everyone but it's the only AB collab that actually had something to do with hbr lol there are a lot of things that weirdly link to ch5.1

en hbr translating nakama as friend sometimes ruins the vibes for me because sometimes nakama = friend but in hbr, it's often not, and not just yukki but even ruka doesn't call yukki her friend but her nakama and it's a different kind of bond. and they translate it correctly when yukki's the one

reading AB collab2 in english and right when i thought that the quality of loc had improved, they made a mistake translating a line that foreshadows everything that comes later in the event, which makes hisako's actions confusing 😭

wakki's new memosto was really cute and had some unexpected interactions but they really gotta do something about sharo because Every time she appears, it's obvious what she's going to say/do. even muua isn't this bad about masochism and has more going on

i think one natural feature that makes ruka look cool are her eyes which are pretty sharp 🤔 but for the rest of her physical features, i think she's good-looking without characteristics that clearly distinguish her as cute or cool and it was up to her to decide and she simply decided on cool

this is just me being insane but
yukki's hair is one of her best features imo and the ends are Slightly wavy and not 100% straight because the haircut is layered. while the wig goes a simple straight cut (and is also more purple and shiny)

i keep talking about stage ruka but not stage yukki and it's not that stage yukki is bad but ig maekawa yukki just can't be topped for me personally. i love her voice acting as yukki so so so much so the difference is too noticeable to me

yukki in my mind is either a cute princess or an elegant oneesan. i *used* to see her as more princely but snow white yukki changed my mind

going back to ch1, i can see why some might prefer the stage play version of this scene since ruka is nicer but i think that acting unreasonable like a child and having yukki tolerate that is ruka's immature way of expressing her love? she doesn't act the same way now of course but ruka acts

i think that's the reason ruka/31A had to be A. ruka started off not even wanting to be a leader but then she started wanting A which was good for her since she was kind of passive until then. meanwhile, wakki thought that she HAD to be A. she was driven by guilt and frustrated at her powerlessness

maybe it's bc even when comes to yuri games, i prefer the galge kind often called male gazey over the otome kind but while i love cool girls, this style killed me and i could never complain about it. i don't particularly find it male gazey when most men couldn't even identify which princess she is
