i think my rkyk longing has been so bad lately because the stage play did them dirty and was too notp centric and there hasn't been rkyk after that to cleanse my palate (like idm the content drought since everyone deserves the spotlight but i crave more rkyk when i'm exposed to notp)

yukki's styles always came with self-debuffs or carried implications of death or ephemerality until she got her unison with the flowers standing for eternal love which is interesting because ruka often talks as if eternity is more ideal ("i wish these days would last forever", "don't age" etc)

that's why i do like yukki's confession because i think it's important for the audience to know that she would now clearly reject a man for ruka and that it isn't ambiguous anymore... i just want ruka to be the one proposing in the end so this is a nice way to get both if they commit

i still can't get over yukki's 2nd recollection bc when yukki says that ruka can marry a man, ruka laughs it off and changes the topic but she brings it up later and asks yukki about her type in men and if there's a possibility she'd prefer ruka instead and that's the most yuri thing in hbr imo

what's funny about my preference for long hair in 2d is that while anime hair is great since it's a bunch of pixels, when it comes to 2.5d and 3d, real hair works a bit different and can't be as dynamic so i like short hair more

i think what annoys me is the heavy marketing they do with diva like when they made a 31A intro ad, ruka was introduced with diva which felt so wrong because that isn't ruka. i even couldn't accept her bday post being diva. idm it being a one-time fanservice thing but i don't want it to replace the

my character development was learning to appreciate the beauty of ruka's short hair even tho i personally like seeing long hair and diva was the trial i needed for that character development (i said literally a week before she was revealed that ruka didn't stand out to me initially bc of her hair)

tbh i think it's sad that ruka is considered the most beautiful when she looks like the typical anime girl instead of her preferred ikemen look but i have to remind myself that diva ruka looks pretty much like yuina who is considered the most beautiful

anyway i need white suit yanagi so bad because i see people do insane numbers with king ruka but i can't utilise her full potential since i don't have yanagi (now i regret not having tried harder to get her)

it's so funny how diva is somewhat less useful for ruka fans because they prefer using ruka dps. you CAN go the fire dps with SS1 skill route but some dislike that method so i'm glad they buffed king ruka eventually

kinda glad they're releasing diva before unison yukki because it kinda sucked how everyone forgot about king when diva came out but this way, we can get diva out of the way before king makes a second appearance

btw i still long for a ruka style that's music-themed in a way that's actually her. the rockstar suit exists ofc but that's shared with 31A and it's a deliberate unconventional fit for a rockstar. i want a normal rockstar ruka too

honestly smth that soured diva for me is the fanon interpretation lol like i kept seeing her being interpreted as a passive maidenly princess who has to be protected which is so ??? when her skill's theme is of a goddess who protects everyone

a "light" yuri that's more plot-heavy that i found kinda peak was qualia the purple. i wish there was more stuff like that because most of the time when the yuri is light, it's just half-baked and not worth it imo

the "yuri" in this game i'm playing is frustrating me so much that i kinda like the het more because at least the token straight girl is not obsessing over the pushover protagonist 😭 i really hope the true ending changes my mind

tbh i can't hate the summer event bc having one genuine gay moment already made it better than its predecessors to me. no jokes, no beating around the bush, no shallow fanservice... just yuri romance taken seriously for a minute. i wish monanyan's side was elaborated but kura's seriously an icon
