I was literally talking about this last night.
I’m thinking about federal income tax.
If the federal government isn’t meeting its obligations why should we?
Specifically, I’d love to see states get the money first and hold it in trust pending litigation. I want to pay my taxes but not to a government that doesn’t respect the constitution.

I was literally talking about this last night.
This caused $15,000 in overdraft fees for the city, ultimately waived by the bank. This is so illegal.
If you thought it wasn’t possible—well, here we are. Musk pulled $80 million in funding authorized by Congress straight from NYC’s bank account. The federal government took the funds and called it a “clawback” of taxpayer money. A lot of others would simply call it stealing.
