Whenever I hear about "purity tests" on the left it's examples like this that remind me that NOBODY takes them seriously. It's not purity tests, it's consistency. Because I would not at all trust any of my neighbors who were more concerned about property values then basic humanity.
My friend lives in Roxbury NJ where ICE is trying to buy a warehouse to convert into a detention center and she says they’re trying to fight it. Apparently many of the people fighting are Trump supporters who voted for deportations but are worried the concentration camp will ruin property values.

Darnold proved to the Vikings that he was that guy and their loss is our gain. I submitted a joke to @defector.com's Why Your Team Sucks. I saw Darnold as a diet Geno Smith and I am so glad to be proven wrong. I am so glad we gave him the opportunity to become our franchise QB.

Also that this league is glaringly impatient with quarterbacks. Darnold is the biggest QB underdog story since Kurt Warner and for him to take every opportunity to prove himself in spite of the terrible situations he was in shows just how much he's got that dog in him.

Sam Darnold being the first of the vaunted 2018 QB class to make it to a Superbowl is a massive glaring reminder that one player does not a team make. The Ravens would've been in an SB if they'd kept McDonald and have him succeed Harbaugh. Mayfield, Allen, and Jackson lack a competent defense.
