yee i will blog about this, lots of reasons why lancer combats are long but we can fix *most * of them without even going into homebrew
See I don’t do that either, enemy volume is generally low and tend to have a pretty low ttk idk

I don't know how helpful this is but I can get through 4 combats in a night bc my OPFOR doesn't take 4 hours to die
idc whether it's 5e, #pathfinder2e, or #lancer, the advice you should spend a WEEK trying to make your one combat last the full session needs to be illegal. its playing the game wrong

I don't know how helpful this is but I can get through 4 combats in a night bc my OPFOR doesn't take 4 hours to die

I am winning at RPGs
Players perma-killed THE HOST tonight, which was based on a cut monster from Evolve. I mashed up engineer and monstrosity while they tracked it around the map, killing it before it reached the cryo pods...
