The CFPB is one of the American people’s best defenses against waste, fraud, and abuse.

Demolishing it will, of course, lead to more waste, fraud, and abuse.

This is not a U.S. Marshal, Federal Protective Service, or any other federal law enforcement officer. This is a private security guard from Triple Canopy. He has no authority to block members of Congress who have oversight of the EPA from entering the building.
We were just denied entrance into the EPA after asking to meet with a DOGE representative. More to come.

The NSF, which to this point funds about $10B in US science research, has told staff to prepare for 50% layoffs.

Grants can be canceled for having in them a long laundry list of terms deemed "DEI."

This is madness.

Stay outraged. Stay engaged. Keep calling. Keep holding your senators and representatives accountable. The 5 Calls app makes it easy—download it, set a reminder, and make calling a habit.

Rest. Reset. Repeat.

I went to my Congressman's local office today. First off, they were surprised that I was there. They said they had been getting phone calls, but I was the first walk-in. That said, the phones were not ringing off the hook. If the DC phone lines are busy, try calling the local office.

I'm sorry, but "they took over the whole federal payments system, fired the career staff, and won't let anybody see what they're doing" is not a situation in which you wait for more information. It's a situation in which you assume the worst. There's no explanation for it other than rampant crimes.

This is exactly what we want to see from Democrats right now! There’s no excuse for Senate Democrats to be confirming any of Trump’s nominees while MAGA’s illegal power grab continues. If you’re represented by Sen. @schatz.bsky.social, be sure to thank him for fighting back against President Musk.
Exclusive | Democratic Senator Says He Will Stall Trump Nominees Until USAID Is Back
The move would require Senate Majority Leader John Thune to use precious floor time to advance the president’s nominees through the confirmation process.

This morning, Gus was in full beagle mode, barking his little heart out in the yard. I called out, “Gus, come!”—nothing. I tried again, louder this time: “Gus, breakfast!” And just like that, he bolted inside like he hadn’t eaten in days. This is the beagle way.
