I just watched NBC Nightly News and saw stories about how much money is predicted to be spent on holiday shopping and the movies. I guess the price of eggs is now unimportant.

During a recent volunteer texting campaign session, I had a voter tell me that things were better 4 years ago. I reminded them that we had a flubbed pandemic response which led to a million dead Americans, massive box losses and a tanked economy. Amazing how people conveniently forget facts.
