How on earth did @bostonbruins.bsky.social presale tickets sell out for all 3 games I was looking at 30 seconds after the queue was opened?

Beginning the migration from Notion to Obsidian.

There are several apps I use many times throughout the day, but @vivaldi.com is one I depend on the most and man, it just keeps getting better!

Alright, I've got to admit. Windows on Arm with the X12 Elite Snapdragon processor does wonders on battery life

I'm in a visualization/BI haze. I like working with Looker, but it hasn't been the best experience with my large data set in Snowflake (this could me, I'm not ruling that out).

PowerBI is great, but I'm running locally so sharing is tough.

Tableau has a huge learning curve.

Any recommendations?

My new laptop is an AI PC with Copilot preinstalled. I asked some questions regarding another Microsoft product, PowerBI. Time and time again, it provided bad responses that were not compatible, even when I provided extra context.

The same queries in Gemini produced executable results. Crazy.

I finally upgraded my 8 year old Windows-based Intel NUC with an i7 12th Gen with 32 GB of RAM.

This was initially my replacement Plex server.

Now that I've learned a bit of docker and placed Plex in a container, I host my own AFFAiNE service, and so much more.

Docker is fricken awesome!

So I'm on a newer Airbus 220 which has a 60W USB-C port (awesome!) What if all 137 seats used 60W at the same time? Just over 820W.

Is a lot of power or a fraction of what an engine with an alternator can generate mid flight? How about with an APU?

I kind of miss coming downstairs to the smell of a Christmas tree in the morning

I can't wait for #HIMSS25! It's going to be a great show. If anyone wants to meet up, I'll be with Jamf, HatchMed, Navv Systems, Vault, and Apple in booth 4837 demonstrating patient, caregiver, and IT experiences running #ios.

I couldn't be more excited to be a part of the @reincubate.com Beta. This tool has been incredibly helpful in giving hands-on kiosk demos with remote teams, letting me use my phone camera and mic when presenting.

Tried running a llama-3.2-3B model on my 2-year-old computer with an nVidia 3050 and 64GB of RAM... it's DOGGING trying to answer a coding question. Damn.

I feel like we're at the point in history books where people start asking "Why didn't anyone do anything?"

My dad text me and asked if I felt the earthquake. I did, but thought it was just our building heating system.

It hit just 8 or so miles from him! No damage, but he said it felt like a car hit his building. Crazy! Didn't expect that from York, ME.

Started sanding and priming some wainscoting in our dining room. It's going to look SO much better. Problem is I'm going to want to do this to every room in the house! Bye bye 80s wood trim!

OneNote isn't the app for me anymore, I needed more out of it for personal tracking, etc. I've been trying our Notion but I feel like I'm living in a sea of nested pages and it's hard to organize (maybe that's a me thing?).

I'm on the hunt for a good notetaking app. Any recommendations?
