One of the most consistent through lines in Trump’s political career is his support for political violence that he views as benefiting him.
President Trump said that he had no plans to call Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota after a man assassinated a state lawmaker there and wounded another over the weekend.

"I think the governor of Minnesota is so whacked out, I’m not calling him," Trump told reporters.

This is inhumane and indefensible. Israel must end the blockade and allow humanitarian aid to flow into Gaza.
After serving more than 130 million total meals and 26 million loaves of bread over the past 18 months, World Central Kitchen no longer has the supplies to cook meals or bake bread in Gaza. #ChefsForGaza (1/5)

By "us" he means him and Musk. For example, WSJ is reporting today that Vietnam is fast-tracking authorization of Starlink and a Trump resort to try to get Trump to back off on tariffs. Such brazen corruption.

It's a testament to the vast human capacity for self-delusion that these ostensibly well-educated and informed people are only just now reaching this conclusion.

The courts are the most robust check on this lawless, authoritarian regime, and it's not close. Thread:
Judge Brinkema asked the government what their position was; do they still have TPS, and if so, how are they being held?

The government said it was their position that they did still have TPS — a confusing answer given what DHS tried to do — then said they were being held as public safety threats.

If you cared about balancing the budget, you wouldn’t cut the IRS. If, on the other hand, you cared about helping billionaires cheat on their taxes, you would definitely cut the IRS.
🚨 Big SCOOP 🚨

Tax revenue could fall by as much as **10%** this year, per sources, as taxpayers and businesses see the Trump admin as less likely to challenge tax cheats.

That'd be **$500 BILLION** in lost revenue.

It'd nearly double the tax gap in a single year.
