At #CamJam today talking and showing all things #RaspberryPi. Also taking donations for bits in a box of old (and not so old!) Pi tech. Be interesting to see if old Pis have got any value to people!

Almost managed to update my Pi Hole OLED screen script to use the new V6 API. It's taking me longer to simply control an LED due to gpiozero not liking Python virtual environments.

I remember the days when using an LED was the easy bit!

Just upgraded Pi-Hole to v6. Now it melts my Pi whenever I load the dashboard. Performance is definitely lower than v5 versions. Not sure I ever saw CPU over 50% never mind 122%.

I pulled the trigger and launched the kickstarter for SPOKE this morning.

My review of the new #Raspberrypi Compute Module 5, and development kit is live on Tom's Hardware. I tested the board, CM4 compatibility, SSDs, cameras, displays and overclocked it to 3 GHz!

Gambled on a Node-Red automation which I created at 1am to manage my GivEnergy battery during the Octopus #FreeElectricity session while I was asleep.

A ST7567S based LCD screen. Not an easy device to get running on a Pi Pico. But I have broken the "hello world" barrier.

This last week I visited the World’s Largest Raspberry Pi Cluster that is now located at University of California Santa Barbara and the students, grad students and professors doing research with it. And the IT department! Amazing, simply amazing! Can’t wait for the next visit!
